Diabetes and hair loss

Hormonal imbalances such as uncontrolled diabetes can interfere with hair production and cause hair loss for many difference reasons.

Diabetics are more susceptible than non-diabetics to many skin problems, including bacterial and fungal infections, which may lead to hair loss.

Because of reduced peripheral blood circulation, diabetics may also heal more slowly and scar more often from injuries, which also may contribute to hair thinning and hair loss. Often, better controlled diabetes will reduce or even reverse the hair loss.

Bioscal® and Bioscalin® are one of the most widely used and trusted hair growth stimulants and are used to remove obstacles to natural, healthy hair growth, to prepare and stimulate the scalp for new hair growth and to optimize the growth conditions for the new hair. However, underlying medical disorders, such as diabetes, should be treated by medical practitioners.
