Dihydrotestosterone

DiHydroTestosterone (DHT) is formed when testosterone is broken down by the 5-alpha-reductase enzyme.

Overabundance of DHT leads to shrinkage and blockage of hair follicles with the result that the hair grows back shorter and thinner, causing gradual hair loss and over time baldness.

DHT imbalance affects millions of men and women, it usually occurs after puberty and it is a major cause of hair loss.

Bioscal® and Bioscalin® are used to remove such obstacles to natural, healthy hair growth, to prepare and stimulate the scalp for new hair growth and to optimize the growth conditions for the new hair.
