Lupus hair loss

Lupus, also called Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE) is an autoimmune connective tissue disease with variable features, and may include any of several forms of ulcerative skin disease.

The underlying disease (Lupus) is treated with pharmaceuticals, primarily corticosteroids, anti-malarials, and chemotherapy drugs. Hair loss is one of numerous symptoms caused by Lupus.

Bioscal® and Bioscalin® are used to remove obstacles to natural, healthy hair growth, to prepare and stimulate the scalp for new hair growth and to optimize the growth conditions for the new hair. However, underlying medical disorders, such as lupus, should be treated by medical practitioners.
